Several years ago, we came to visit the
south of France for the first time, discovered St. Rémy de
Provence and its surroundings, and decided to stay…to restore
a cluster of 17th century traditional farm houses and to create a
"hamlet" of self-catering, family holiday homes in a very
interesting historical 17th century setting.
Each of our old houses has a special name: L’Orangerie,
La Tuilerie, La
Tour de la Girouette, Le
Vieil Moulin, and
La Bastide des Micocouliers. The names denote something of their very special
past. And while each of our old houses, with surrounding gardens,
has a very private character, at the same time, the pool,
barbeque-terrace, plus Jacuzzi and other sports facilities are shared
by all of us. The more lands, languages and laughs the better.
The thick walls of each house are almost 400 years old; so what “looks”
old and “feels” very provençal intrigues our visitors,
who enjoy, at the same time, the same top-level peace, quiet and comfort
that you would find in any other 4-star, self-catering holiday setting.
We are here all year long and anxious to greet you here “Au
Moulin Entre Deux Mas” (Translation: At the Mill between two
Old Farm houses.)
